Founded in 2001, we’ve continually focused on assisting clients in taking advantage of web technologies (website and marketing), and the opportunities they present.
Business size and geographic focus: Our firm is located in Southern California and specializes in servicing the small and medium sized business marketplace (SMB). With the magic of the Internet, our clients may be located anywhere; however, our customer base is largely located in Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. Bastion Internet started in 2001 as a technology consulting firm offering web design and Internet marketing and security services consulting. By 2005 our focus was largely on providing Internet marketing including Search Engine Optimization and Pay Per Click campaign management. Web design projects were either done in-house or outsourced to a select set of web design partners.
In 2007 an expanded in-house web design operation was set up to accommodate the ongoing demand from customers and referrals. We currently do 95% of all work in-house.
The firm has 2 integrated divisions:
The Internet marketing division is headed by John Boulter. John has 20 plus years of experience in high technology marketing and project management. He’s been directly involved in strategic website development and Internet marketing since 1998.
John and his staff are continually staying up to date on the latest in Internet marketing including SEO, PPC, Email marketing, podcasting, blogging and more.
The website development division is run by Rick Guerrero, Creative Director. Rick is well known in the Southern California area as one of the leaders in setting web design trends and intelligently incorporating the latest design technologies into website elements.
Rick and his staff spend their time fulfilling current client design needs and searching out the next techniques, fashions, and styles that are likely to become popular among the web surfing public.
